As for Robby Hoffman, she's an Emmy-winning writer and comedian, originally from Brooklyn and raised in Montreal. Growing up in a strict Hasidic Jewish home, she faced challenges due to her sexuality but has since become proud of her identity as "very Jewish and very gay." Her successful comedy career includes writing for notable shows like "Odd Squad," for which she won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2019. She's also developing a comedy called "Rivkah" for Showtime, inspired by her life experiences.

Hoffman's unique blend of writing and performing on stage has garnered her recognition as one of Vulture's "Comedians You Should Know in 2020." She loves the mix of juggling her writing endeavors and performing live, describing it as her "day shift" and "night shift."
